Welcome to Interlibrary Loan Service. Vanderbilt faculty, staff, and currently enrolled students (and their spouses or domestic partners) may log into a personal, secure "ILLiad" account to submit and manage requests, retrieve electronically delivered documents, and set service preferences.
You can use interlibrary loan (ILL) service to obtain loans or copies of library materials that are not available at Vanderbilt.
Vanderbilt faculty may also request campus delivery of VU Library materials.
Articles typically arrive within a week (many are faster, some take much longer), and are delivered electronically.
Loans generally take 1-2 weeks to arrive (but delivery time varies widely). We will notify you by email when your loan is available. The use period and any renewal is set by the lending library.
Log into your ILL account to view checkouts, renew loans, access delivered articles, and track your requests through the ILL online system. (Interlibrary loans do not appear in your Acorn record.)
